HIS ROYAL Majesty, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the Asantehene, today (Tuesday November 4, 2025), introduced prominent Ghanaian business moguls to German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier during his visit to the Manhyia Palace in Kumasi.

Significantly, the historic encounter is Otumfuo’s own way of creating a common platform to establish contact and familiarity between Ghanaian businessmen and their German counterparts, thereby paving the way for potential investment opportunities.

The Asante King’s strategic move, held on the sidelines of a durbar in honour of the visiting German President, will definitely open doors for new business opportunities and strengthen economic ties between the two sister countries.

Some of the top Ghanaian businessmen who were present included Osei Kwame Despite, Ofori Sarpong, Dr. Kwaku Oteng, just to mention a few.

Beaming with smiles, the business moguls were seen exchanging pleasantries with the German president and his delegation as Otumfuo watched with profound admiration.

Ghana’s stable democracy, business-friendly environment, accommodating people, and rich natural resources makes it an attractive destination for investors from across the globe.

Ghana has been actively seeking foreign investment to boost its economy, with a focus on sectors like infrastructure, agriculture, and manufacturing.

The Asante King’s laudable move therefore shows that indeed the rapid and effective transformation of the country, in order to boost the living standards of the citizens, is dear to his heart.
