Wisdom Osei Boamah, also known as ‘Okumkom,’ the new Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Atwima Nwabiagya, is unhappy with the prevailing conditions at his new office.
The office lacks proper furniture, refrigerator, visitor seats, a television, and other essential items, hindering the smooth delivery of his duties.
Additionally, he is dissatisfied with the poor state of the administration block and the official vehicle, which has mechanical faults and worn-out tires.
In an interview with Lawson FM Morning Show host Kwame Tanko on Monday, May 19, 2024, Okumkom said he’s faced with avoidable challenges, but he will fix them in due time.
He said he’s personally footing the bill to repair the official vehicle and has instructed the Municipal Coordinating Director, Works Engineer, Physical Planning Officer, and other top officials to ensure his office is ready within the shortest time frame.
Expressing gratitude for his new role, he thanked God and those who supported him, including the President, assembly members, traditional leaders, Imams, and party executives.
He promised to work even harder to increase his party’s fortunes in future elections.
