THE ASHANTI Regional Campaign Coordinator for Alan For President, Hon Collins Owusu Amankwah has commended NPP delegates across the 47 constituencies of Ashanti for showing support to Alan Kyerematen during the just ended 6 day tour of the region.
Speaking to the media over the weekend, Hon Amankwah said both delegates and non delegates showed commitment to the course of Mr Kyerematen at every place the team visited.
This, he noted makes the difference since these party members are the very core of the party and would be voting on November 4th to elect a flagbearer to lead the party into the 2024 elections.
“Everywhere we went the mass of our party people especially delegates showed so much commitment to the course of Mr Alan Kyerematen and it was evident from their participation and pronouncements”, Hon Amankwah stated.
Confidence:
Hon Amankwah, a former Member of Parliament for Manhyia North said the Alan Kyerematen Campaign was upbeat about their chances in the upcoming elections.
The Regional Coordinator explained that the team was currently working beyond the upcoming super delegates conference of the party.
He stated that Alan Kyerematen would surely make it through to become one of the five aspirants for the November 4 elections where over 200, 000 delegates will be voting across the 16 regions of the country.
“The A4P team is focused on our plan to ensure Mr Alan Kyerematen sweeps the votes across the Ashanti Region and the other 15 regions of Ghana so that he becomes the flag-bearer of the party after November 4”, Hon Collins stressed.
Plan:
The Ashanti Regional Coordinator noted that the team was strategising to finish its campaigns across the regions of Ghana.
He noted that their campaigns are rocking the boat of others with some planning a mop up of Ashanti region.
Hon Amankwah said the team was leaving no stone unturned to ensuring this time around Alan Kyerematen leads the NPP as flag-bearer.
“We’ve heard reports that the Vice President’s team based on intelligence reports is planning to come back to Ashanti to do a mop up due to the ground swell of support Mr Alan Kyerematen is enjoying here but we care less. They can even turn their campaign into fun clubs formation. Ours is to remain focused and deliver a massive victory for Alan Kyerematen on November 4”, Hon Amankwah stated firmly.
