DR. MATTHEW Opoku Prempeh, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Vice Presidential Candidate, has welcomed his dear wife to the party’s official campaign activities.

Mrs. Alma Pokua Adade-Prempeh, over the weekend, officially commenced her own campaign for the NPP in the Odododiodoo Constituency in the Greater Accra Region.

Why Odododiodoo?

Tracing her mother’s roots, Mrs. Prempeh strategically started her campaign in Odododiodoo to solicit the support and ancestral blessings of her maternal family.

Mrs. Prempeh’s maiden appearance at the campaign arena has been welcomed and lauded by her proud husband, Dr. Prempeh, who is widely known in the political circles as ‘Napo’.

Napo, who is already crisscrossing the country and seriously campaigning for votes, believes that the inclusion of his wife on the campaign trail will greatly help the NPP.

He has thus motivated his wife to go all out and campaign for Dr. Bawumia, the NPP Presidential Candidate, to win the election and upgrade the country’s development.

Napo also urged Mrs. Prempeh to campaign for all 275 NPP parliamentary candidates so that the party can win the majority in parliament to enable Dr. Bawumia to govern well.

Napo’s Pledge to Bawumia

Dr. Prempeh, it will be recalled, has openly pledged on different political platforms that he will faithfully serve and support his boss, Dr. Bawumia, to win the upcoming presidential election.

According to him, just as Dr. Bawumia diligently served his boss, President Akufo-Addo, to succeed, so he (Napo) will also serve Dr. Bawumia, in good and bad times, to become president.

It’s therefore not surprising that Napo’s dear wife has also hit the campaign grounds and canvassing for precious votes to help Dr. Bawumia to realize his dream of becoming president.
