Less than 1 minute Minutes

NEW PATRIOTIC Party (NPP) members in Manhyia South Constituency have been advised to unite and approach the upcoming December 7 elections.

The wise counsel was given by the NPP Vice Presidential Candidate, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, when he met and freely interacted with NPP members in Manhyia South.

With a united front, he said, the NPP Presidential Candidate, Alhaji Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia, would definitely be elected as the next president of Ghana in December.

Dr. Prempeh aka ‘Napo’ gave the advice when he finally said good bye to the people of Manhyia South Constituency, where he has served as MP for 16 years.

Continuing, Napo entreated the NPP members to do away with backbiting and internal strife, reminding them that they belong to the elephant family with a common destiny.

The NPP guru also demanded hard work from the NPP members in Manhyia South, especially as the December 7 presidential and parliamentary elections approaches.

Napo said the party should watch against complacency and rather campaign assiduously to win every available vote to enable Dr. Bawumia to become the president.

He then turned the heat on the largest opposition political party in the country, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and their leader, former President Mahama.

Without mincing words, Napo predicted that John Mahama
cannot win the impending presidential election, stating that victory was starring in the face of Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia.

The electorates, he pointed out, are aware of the bad governance that was exhibited by the NDC, which led to their two successive electoral defeats in 2016 and 2020,

In line with this, he boldly stated that the citizenry would renew the mandate of the NPP in 2024 so that his boss, Dr. Bawumia would build on the gains of President Akufo-Addo.

Dr. Prempeh also urged the electorates to vote for Dr. Bawumia and all the NPP parliamentary candidates, saying that the NPP needs majority seats in parliament to govern properly.
