THE ASANTEHENE, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II and President Nana Akufo-Addo, will meet and talk about the development of Asanteman on Sunday.
The crunch meeting will take place at the Manhyia Palace, in Kumasi, the official seat of the Asante Monarch, Press1News has been reliably informed.
The president is embarking on a four-day working tour in the Ashanti Region, starting from Sunday, October 16 to Wednesday, October 19, 2022.
On the first-day of the tour, the president would engage Otumfuo in a meeting. The two dignitaries would discuss government projects in the region.
The president would explain to the Asantehene about the projects that his administration is undertaking to develop the Ashanti Region, so far.
President Akufo-Addo would later meet with the Asantehemaa, Nana Ama Konadu Yiadom III, for separate discussions at the Manhyia Palace.
Meanwhile, the president would on Tuesday break the grounds during a special ceremony for the commencement of the Suame Interchange project.
He would also inspect the ongoing Boankra Inland Port project as part of his tour of the region, which gives the ruling NPP more votes during elections.
