Kumasi Mayor supports 4 Garrison Education Unit with 50 bags of cement

The Metropolitan Chief Executive of the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly, Hon. Richard Ofori Agyeman Boadi, has demonstrated his commitment to education by donating 50 bags of cement to the 4 Garrison Education Unit in Kumasi.

This donation aims to support the completion of a 2-storey classroom block, which will provide of a conducive learning environment for students.

Hon. Boadi, a proud alumnus of the school credits his academic success to the discipline and courage he gained while at the school.

He emphasised the importance of giving back to his alma mater, stating, “My success today is because I was taught well in this school. If my school is in need, I have no option but to help make it a success.”

The Mayor promised to utilise the Assembly’s resources to facilitate the completion of the first floor of the building.

Lieutenant Colonel Robert Laryea Okorley, Head of 4 Garrison Education Unit, thanked the Mayor for his support, acknowledging the significance of this initiative in enhancing the school’s infrastructure.
