The abandoned Kumasi Press Center building at Denyame
STORY
THE KUMASI Press Center building is currently in a deplorable state.
The one-storey building was abandoned at the roofing level stage some years ago.
The years of neglect is now having a huge toll on the dilapidated building.
Press1News visited the building site at Denyame on Sunday afternoon.
The entire building structure was looking very weak and discoloured.
Sadly, parts of the building, especially the upper part, had developed deep cracks.
Weeds have also taken over most parts of the compound, a clear sign of neglect.
Some unknown people were also keeping firewood on the compound.
The press center was started by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) government.
The project was meant to help improve media work in the Ashanti Region.
But the building was abandoned when the NDC left political office in 2016.

This could be a hidden site for riff-raffs … State of building is deplorable and can even collapse.. This needs to be fixed with immediate effect!!!!!
