His achievements since assuming office in May form a major part of the radio discussions, including plans for 2026.

Apart from ensuring that development projects are equitably distributed, major challenges such as congestion in the central business district, visibility at night, and functioning of sub-structures of the assembly, traffic flow, and security, among other things, have been evident of his good leadership.

The public, during the phone-in segment of his radio engagement, applauded him for his good work but were quick to draw his attention to other challenges in their areas.

Educational and health infrastructure, poor drainage, poor road networks, non-functional streetlights, and commercial vehicle operators’ exploitation of passengers have been the major complaints, which the public requires the Mayor to tackle.

It’s been so far, so good for the disciplinarian Mayor, whose commitment to making a difference is very commendable.

Popularly called King Zuba, he seems to have put his best foot forward, whipping up public support to achieve success in his tenure of office.
