The Guinea national team has handed a call-up to Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC goalkeeper Mohammed Camara for their upcoming international friendly matches against Togo and Niger.
The head coach of Guinea, Paulo Duarte, who replaced Kaba Diawara in August 2025, is impressed with the performance of Kotoko’s first-choice goalkeeper.
The matches are scheduled to take place in Casablanca, Morocco, during the FIFA International break, specifically, November 10-18, 2025.
According to an official statement by Asante Kotoko, the invitation to their Guinean import comes as no surprise, considering his impressive outings since joining the Porcupine Warriors.
Mohammed Camara has played a pivotal role in the team’s recent successes, including their FA Cup triumph, the Champion of Champions title, and the Toyota Cup victory in South Africa.
He is expected to leave Ghana after Asante Kotoko’s Super Clash against Accra Hearts of Oak on Sunday, November 9, 2025, to join his national teammates in camp.
