Asante Kotoko SC gaffer, Abdul Karim Zito Kabutey, has resigned from his post. He tendered his resignation on Monday, February 9, 2026.
Kotoko’s management has since accepted his resignation.

The Porcupine Warriors were eliminated at the one-sixteenth stage of the 2025/26 FA Cup at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday by Aduana Stars FC, culminating in the coach’s departure.
Karim Zito’s performance lately has not been impressive, angering fans who have called for his exit.
His replacement is not known; however, it looks likely that Kotoko will play their league top-of-the-table fixture against bitterest rivals, Accra Hearts of Oak in GPL Week 22, on Sunday at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium without a head coach.
