Less than 1 minute Minutes

Karim Zito Kabutey, head coach of Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC, insists his side will end Accra Hearts of Oak SC’s unbeaten run on Sunday.

Hearts, under coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani, are yet to lose a match in the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League (GPL).

The Phobians will host their bitter rivals, Kotoko, at the Accra Sports Stadium in the 9th fixture of the GPL.

The match promises to be a thriller, and Karim Zito is confident his side will win.

Hearts are fourth on the league log with 16 points, having won four and drawn the rest, while the Porcupine Warriors are eighth with 11 points after playing five matches, due to their failed continental campaign.

Kotoko, like Hearts, are yet to lose a match, having won three and drawn the remaining.

Sunday’s match will be the third meeting between Zito and Didi in recent times.

Kotoko won 2-1 against Hearts in 2025 President’s Cup, but the Phobians retaliated strongly with a 2-0 win against the Porcupine Warriors in the last GALCA Top 4.
