FABULOUS KUMASI Asante Kotoko SC has arrived safely in Johannesburg early today ahead of their clash against Kaiser Chiefs on Saturday.
They will rest as per their plans before resuming preparations ahead of their clash. The Ghana giants are bent on revenge for the loss in 2001.
Coach Abdul Karim Zito Kabutey and his charges have promised their teeming supporters they are going to add the 2025 Toyota Cup to their recent trophies.
Kotoko’s squad list for the trip includes Samba Gilbani O’niel, Henry Ansu, Lord Amoah, Mohammed Camara, Peter Amidu Acquah, Lord Hilary Adabo, Shayibu Abubakar, and Joseph Amoah.
Others are Philip Amoh, Johnson Owusu, Seth Kwadwo, Zackaria Fuseini, Aziz Haruna Dari, Francis Acquah, Patrick Asiedu, Baba Yahaya, Saaka Dauda, and Hubert Gyau.
Elvis Kyei Baffour, Michael Sefah, Benjamin Twum, Kwame Poku, Albert Amoah, Emmanuel Antwi, and Inusah Adams are also part of the 25-member squad.
The likes of Joseph Ablorh, Isaac Mintah, Samuel Tenedu, Andrews Ntim Manu, and Emmanuel Kotei could not join the squad due to injuries.
