Four footbridges at Santasi, Ohwim, Amankwatia, and Kokoso, to be constructed by M/S D’Rigano Struct Limited, aimed at improving pedestrian safety are part of the projects.

Others are 6-unit classroom blocks at Santasi M/A and Krofrom Adabya Islamic School, to enhance learning environments, to be constructed by M/S Bema Global Group Limited.

These projects are being funded through the Assembly’s share of the District Assembly Common Fund (DACF) and are expected to be completed within six months.

At the ceremonies to hand over sites to contractors, Mayor of Kumasi, Hon. Richard Ofori-Agyeman Boadi, emphasized timely delivery, quality standards, and the real benefits these developments will bring to residents of Kumasi.

With him at the sites were technocrats and his staffers.

Each of the contractors promised to execute their tasks timely and satisfactorily.
