The Mayor emphasized the importance of public involvement in local governance, citing Section 40 of the Local Governance Act, 2016 (Act 936).

He outlined key development projects undertaken in the Sub-Metro, including construction of footbridges, markets, and road improvements.

The Assembly plans to embark on several development projects in 2026, including a market, a classroom block, and rehabilitation of a health centre.

The event provided an opportunity for attendees, including Muslim leaders, Zongo chiefs, traditional leaders, assembly members, unit committee members, market folks, artisans, and students, to ask questions and raise concerns about issues affecting their areas.
