To increase support for Kotoko in their away league match against Bibiani Gold Stars in Bibiani on Sunday, Kumasi Mayor, Richard Ofori-Agyeman Boadi, has donated GHC 2000 to aid supporters’ transportation.
The match promises to be exciting, crucial, and thrilling, as both clubs have a chance to clinch the league title.
With the Mayor’s financial assistance, Kotoko’s supporters are likely to turn out in large numbers to cheer the team to victory.
After receiving the cash on Tuesday, May 20, 2024, Alexander Manu, the Ashanti Regional Circles chairman, thanked the Mayor for his continued support and promised to use the money for its intended purpose.
Ashanti Regional Circles management, led by its Chairman, visited the Mayor’s office to thank him for his exemplary support since he assumed office and to seek his guidance for the wellbeing of the club.
The Mayor of Kumasi has recently made several donations to the club, including $1500 for their preparations against Hearts in Accra and an undisclosed cash donation after Kotoko’s win against Dreams FC in Kumasi.
