Lawyer William Kusi, Ashanti Regional Coordinator for Kennedy Agyapong For President Campaign says his choice will win the November 4 flag-bearer election of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Speaking during the launch of Showdown Supporters Union, a support group for the Businessman flag-bearer aspirant at Suame, Lawyer Kusi said everything including the campaign message and weather conditions in the country show that the owner of Kent City Media was winning the upcoming contest.
He also noted that the number one position the maverick politician has picked for the November 4 election bears testament that Kennedy Agyapong would win.
“When we went for the special delegates conference Kennedy picked number one slot on a rainy day and today too he has picked number on a rainy day and all these speak to the fact that God has ordained Kennedy Agyapong as leader of the NPP for the 2024 general elections”, the Lawyer stated.
Display of Bias:
The legal practitioner said the Kennedy Agyapong Campaign Team has been very worried by the behaviour of some Members of Parliament including the Majority Leader, Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu.
He noted that the Majority leader alongside many of the NPP MPs contrary to guidelines by the party have openly identified with the Vice-President and are campaigning for him.
Lawyer Kusi said what was even surprising was that of the Members of the Elections committee as well as national and regional executives who have also brazenly defied the directives of the party and were campaigning for the Vice President.
“It is really surprising that the leader of our party in Parliament backed by some of his colleagues as well as executives of the party would defy directives governing this internal elections and campaign openly for the Vice-President just because they have been promised monetary rewards”, Lawyer Kusi stressed.

Nana Bee, Chairman for the Showdown Supporters Union said the delegates of the party in Suame were determined to vote for Kennedy Agyapong on November 4th.
“Kennedy Agyapong has shown proof of work by establishing companies to employ the youth and this is what all Ghanaians want. So for us we have someone who can create jobs and wealth for us to enjoy life”, the Chairman stated.
Daniel Boateng, Polling station Chairman at Manhyia North Constituency said the time was ripe for Kennedy Agyapong to lead Ghana since persons who have so far led have failed to create the jobs that would keep the populace happy and impactful.
“It is pathetic that all leaders we have had have done little to give the youth jobs but we are hopeful that Kennedy Agyapong will do that for us because he has shown he is able to do that having given jobs to about 7,000 people at various outfits he has”, Mr Boateng intimated.
