The Executives and Members of the K. G. Advisory Group, a consortium of seasoned corporate, legal and political strategists and consultants, have conferred a special honour on the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH), Prof Dr Dr Otchere Addai-Mensah.
The gesture, according to the group, was for the CEO’s impressive achievements since assuming duty at the hospital as head over a year ago.
The group said it has been monitoring the progress of the hospital over the past several months.
They noted that they have been impressed with the array of innovations and other interventions that have been initiated by the CEO to transform operations and image of the premier health facility in Ashanti.
Plaque:
Mr. Eric Edusei, the Group’s Chairman presented a plaque which read “You are a man of many parts who excels where many have failed”.
It continued that “You are a model of change, positivity and innovation”.
Furthermore, the group said “You are a different make who always pursue purity and integrity”.
Mr. Edusei noted that members were proud of the impressive performance of the CEO, who he revealed is a member of the group.
“We are prepared to use our networks to support your administration’s drive to improve the operational and infrastructural position of the hospital to enable it become the centre of excellence in tertiary healthcare, training and research in line with its mandate”, the Group’s Chairman stated.

Receiving the plaque, Professor Otchere Addai-Mensah expressed his gratitude to the group for the mentorship he received from its accomplished members.
He noted that the very training he got had helped him to handle the complex challenges of managing a tertiary healthcare facility like KATH.
He appealed for the continuous support and prayers of the group to enable him effectively discharge his functions during his tenure of office.
“Continue to support and pray for me to excell and bring honour to us all”, the CEO appealed.
