I’ll work to please Otumfuo and Mahama-Zuba declares

Less than 1 minute Minutes

THE MAYOR of Kumasi, Richard Ofori-Agyeman Boadi, a.k.a King Zuba, has assured that he’s ready to work to repose the confidence of the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, and President John Dramani Mahama.

He said both Otumfuo and President Mahama trust that he could bring transformational change to Kumasi through his leadership.

This confidence reposed in him, he stated at a press conference held at KMA’s Conference Room on April 14, poses a great challenge to him to work harder to improve the condition of Kumasi.

“Kumasi is the city for Otumfuo; I need to work very hard to bring back the Garden City status and please the Asantehene, and President Mahama who gave me the mandate to serve the people of Kumasi”, he told the press.

He assured that under his watch, there would be discipline and enforcement of law to keep the city clean and improve traffic, sanitation, and other issues impeding the progress of Kumasi.

He therefore requested that the public comply with the laws and bylaws of the Assembly to make the city attractive to investors and businesses.
