Hearts of Oaks’ Unbeaten Run Continues after 2-2 Draw with Goldstars

Accra Hearts of Oak and Bibiani GoldStars shared honours in a thrilling 2-2 draw in the Week Seven fixture of the Ghana Premier League (GPL) at Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday October 26.

Hearts of Oak took the lead through striker Mawuli Wayo in the 39th minute, showcasing their pace and determination in the first half.

GoldStars responded strongly after the break, with talisman Samuel Atta Kumi scoring an equalizer in the 51st minute.

The visitors continued to push, and Samuel Atta Kumi scored a beautiful second goal in the 62nd minute, putting 2024/25 GPL champions ahead.

Hearts of Oak coach, Mas-Ud Didi Dramani, adjusted his tactics, introducing fresh players who improved their performance.

Substitute George Paako scored a stunning header in the 70th minute, leveling the score for Hearts, who remain unbeaten this season.

Samuel Attah Kumi was named Most Valuable Player (MVP) for his outstanding performance, which included a brace and a significant impact on the game impressively officiated by referee Julian Nunoo.
