Accra Hearts of Oak SC and one of their players, Hussein Mohammed, are facing disciplinary charges from the Ghana Football Association (GFA) following their 9th Ghana Premier League( GPL) Fixture against Asante Kotoko SC on Sunday in Accra.
According to reports, the charges were as result of alleged breaches of the GFA Disciplinary Code and Premier League Regulations.
It is alleged that Hearts of Oak failed to control their players after the final whistle, leading to several confrontations with the match referee in a disorderly manner.
Additionally, the club’s supporters are accused of throwing objects onto the field of play during the match.
Hussein Mohammed is specifically alleged to have assaulted the match referee after the game.
Both the club and the player have been given until Tuesday, November 11, 2025, to respond to the charges.
