A youthful Kelvin Amankwah Fosuhene, a resident of Asokwa in Kumasi, is grateful to the government and stakeholders for the Nkoko Nketenkete initiative, describing it as a “life-changing” initiative.
In a heartfelt testimonial, the young farmer, a premier beneficiary of the programme launched in Kumasi on November 12, thanked President John Dramani Mahama for implementing the programme.
The initiative is part of the government’s efforts to promote agricultural growth and development in Ghana.
Fosuhene praised the President for delivering on his campaign promise, noting that taking advantage of the government’s poultry initiative is a self-employment opportunity.
“The Nkoko Nketenkete initiative has empowered me with resources and support to succeed in my poultry business,” the ebullient farmer said.
He added, “I am confident that this programme will transform my life and contribute to the country’s agricultural growth.”
He also thanked Hon. Minister of Agriculture, Eric Opoku, MP, and other stakeholders for their efforts in making the programme a reality.
The young farmer promised to work hard to be an ambassador for the new agricultural programme.
