Less than 1 minute Minutes

Bibiani Gold Stars’ Head Coach, Frimpong Manso, insists his side has not lost the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League yet, after their pulsating goalless draw with Kumasi Asante Kotoko in the 32nd Week fixture.

Gold Stars and 24-time domestic league champions Kotoko shared the spoils at the Dunks Park in Bibiani on Sunday, May 25, 2025.

Prior to their game with Kotoko, Coach Frimpong Manso, fondly called ‘Mayanga,’ and his team were a point behind the league leaders, Nations FC, who had amassed 57 points.

However, after the 32nd fixture, Nations FC have stretched their lead to three points after beating Medeama SC 3-1 at Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex at Abrankese.

With two matches to end the season, Gold Stars’ gaffer speaking to the media after their game with Kotoko believes his side will push the league title decider to the last fixture of the season.

Gold Stars will face Berekum Chelsea at the Golden City Park in Berekum in their next game and end the season with Accra Lions in Bibiani.

Meanwhile, Nations FC will travel to play Basake Holy Stars in Azulewan in Week 33 before playing their last game of the season with Hearts of Lions at Abrankese.

Kotoko, who are third on the league log with 55 points, will host Medeama SC in the 33rd fixture in Kumasi, after which they will travel to Tema to face Vision FC to end the season.
