THE GHANA Post Company Limited will next month outdoor a commemorative Post stamp with Otumfuo’s image on Valentine day.
The Managing Director, Mr. Bice Obour Osei Kuffour announced this last week Thursday when he led the Board and Management team to pay a courtesy call on the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II at the Manhyia Palace in Kumasi.
Members of the management team who joined the MD to the Manhyia Palace included the Board Chairman, Mr. George Afedzi Hayford, Mr. Michael Omari Wadie, Madam Abena Durowaa Mensah, Mr. Alfred Nii Nortey, Mr. Yiadom Boakye Kessie, Mr. Frederick Akuffo Gyimah and Mr. Johnson Asante, Northern sector Director of Ghana Post.
They expressed their appreciation for the continuous support and good counsel of the King towards the effective operations of the company over the years.
Ghana Post presented a citation of appreciation to the Overlord of the Ashanti Kingdom and also presented digital letter box to be intalled at the Manhyia Palace.
MD Osei Kuffour announced that Ghana Post Company currently operates the Digital Address system to locate its customers as a result of which it has introduced letter boxes in homes.
Otumfuo Osei Tutu expressed his gratitude for the use of technology to enhance the operations of Ghana Post.
