THE FUNERAL rites (Dote Yie) for Asantehemaa, Nana Konadu Yiadom III, are scheduled for September 14-18, 2025, at the Manhyia Palace in Kumasi.
Asantehemaa’s final journey to her ancestors, as it is believed, was announced by Otumfuo Kyeame Baffour Osei Kwame Kantankrankyi during the one-week observance of Asantehemaa on August 21, 2025.

Consequently, he announced that a temporary ban has been placed on funeral rites starting from September 1 until the end of the funeral rites.
He further announced that on September 18, 2025, during the night when Asantehemaa journeys to Breman as part of her funeral rites, there will be a ban on the movement of people and commercial activities.
