HEAD COACH of Tano Boafoakwa, Frimpong Manso, says he is happy to open the season with a draw with Olympics.
Visiting Tano Bafoakwa, against all odds, managed to draw with Great Olympics at Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday.
Frimpong Manso, a former Ghana defender, says he went into the crunch tie with an ambition to, at least, get a draw.
“Before the game, my strategy was that if we don’t score then they should also not score against us”, Manso disclosed.
Speaking on radio and monitored by Press1News, the trainer said “it is good to hold Olympics at Accra Sports Stadium”.
According to him, securing a draw away from home on the first day of the season, will motivate his team to go higher.
