THE STATE has declared three days of national mourning for the late, Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings.
The three days national mourning starts from October 24 to 26, 2025, Jubilee House, the seat of government, said.
President John Dramani Mahama has also directed that flags should fly at half-mast during the grieving period.
According to the presidency, the national mourning is to honour the memory of the former Ghana first lady.
Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings, 76, died in Accra on Thursday, October 23, 2025 after short illness.
She is the longest serving first lady of Ghana, and she is remembered for playing key roles to develop the country.
