Collaborating with Otec Fm, Mr Job with some officials of the radio station as well as his wife presented the items to the widows who had thronged the premises of the Fm station.

Seated comfortably having had their names written down a day earlier, each of the widows whose name was called out during the distribution showed happiness when they got their packages.

Message:

Speaking during the distribution of the items, Mr Job said giving to support the needy had become part of his daily routine and thanked Otec fm for providing him with the opportunity to do so this year.

He narrated that he had been a beneficiary of God’s grace in life, adding that he therefore treats the needy especially widows very well.

Mr Job also used the opportunity to commend Ghanaians, especially widows for praying for peaceful elections in Ghana.

“We can do what we are doing now when there is peace in the country and i therefore commend all Ghanaianss for praying and conducting themselves well before, during and after the December 7 elections”, the contractor stated.

Beneficiaries:

Maame Adwoa Ampofo, a 68 year old retired farmer said she was grateful for the gesture by the road contractor.

She recalled with a tear that since the husband died 6 years ago she had struggled to eat good food at Christmas.

Grace Eshun, 55 year old widow and charcoal seller blessed the contractor for the gesture, explaining that she decided to register to have the opportunity to receive some of the items.

She noted that her grand children are many so the items would help her cater better for them at the yuletide.
