Following last Sunday’s FA Cup triumph, the Interim Management Committee (IMC) of Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC, led by Nana Apinkra Akwasi Awua, will visit the Manhyia Palace on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, to present the trophy to Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.
The IMC, technical team, supporters’ leadership and players will arrive at the Manhyia Palace at 11am on Wednesday.
Kotoko piped “stubborns” Golden Kicks SC 2-1 at the University of Ghana Stadium last Sunday to lift the FA Cup.
The jubilant Kotoko fraternity will be received by the Asante King in his palace alongside prominent chiefs in the Kingdom.
A source close to Press1News.com hinted that the club’s handlers will brief the owner of the club on the state of affairs and appeal for his support for the next season.
Kotoko has booked a slot to participate in the 2025/26 CAF Confederation Cup and is expected to beef up their squad in order to excel in the competition.
