The Member of Parliament (MP) for the Juaben Constituency, Hon Ama Pomaa Boateng has explained to tertiary students the significance of having a digitalised economy.
She therefore asked students to embrace electronic business ideas and thereby seize some of the opportunities available under the African Continental Free Trade Area (AFCTA).
The MP and former Deputy Minister of Communications and Digitalisations, urged students to actively engage in digital initiatives and take advantage of the opportunities presented by AFCTA.
“It is crucial in today’s world for students to equip themselves with the necessary knowledge and expertise in digitalisation so as to thrive in the digital economy”, Hon Pomaa posited.

The MP reiterated her support for Dr Bawumia, the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party who she mentioned is committed to using technology and digitalisation to turn the fortunes of Ghana.
She also noted the current government’s commitment to advancing digitalization efforts in the country.
Hon Pomaa stressed on the benefits of Breaking the eight (8) agenda, adding that the policies of the NPP would be to the greater good of all Ghanaians.
“I humbly urge students to rally behind the NPP to break the eight so that we can enjoy the fruits of the good policies of a Bawumia government”, Hon Pomaa stressed.

She rallied the students to embrace the bold solutions for the future as outlined by the New Patriotic Party.
“I humbly advise Ghanaian students to join the campaign and be ambassadors for the NPP so that together we can convince Ghanaians to endorse the candidature of Dr Bawumia as President of Ghana in 2025”, Hon Pomaa stated.
