Ejisu NPP Will Align Behind Dr. Bawumia for 2028 Victory—Kwabena Boateng Assures

The Member of Parliament for Ejisu, Hon. Kwabena Boateng Esq., has called on New Patriotic Party (NPP) members to set aside internal differences and unite behind the party’s flag-bearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

Speaking to the press on Tuesday, Lawyer Boateng who previously served as a prominent campaigner for Kennedy Agyapong emphasized that the internal contest is over and the focus must now shift toward a singular goal that is securing victory in the 2028 general elections.

A Call for Unity:

Hon. Boateng noted that the results of the recent primary represent a mandate from the party faithful.

He urged members who supported alternative candidates to align with the majority decision.

“The verdict delivered by NPP members last Saturday sends a clear message and that is we must market Dr. Bawumia to ensure the party recaptures political power in 2028,” Hon. Boateng stated.

Grassroots Mobilization:

The Ejisu MP expressed his unwavering resolve to lead a reconciliation and mobilization drive across his constituency.

His strategy includes:

Constituency Tours:
Visiting all electoral areas and polling stations personally.

Healing the Divide:
Reaching out to supporters of Kennedy Agyapong and other candidates to ensure total alignment.

Grassroots Advocacy:
Engaging voters in everyday spaces, from local markets to radio stations.

“While many had different preferences during the primaries, the majority has spoken,” he remarked.

He added, “It is now incumbent upon every member to support Dr. Bawumia’s leadership.”

Total Commitment:

Hon. Boateng pledged that his support for the Vice President would be “total and unflinching.”

He stressed that the NPP cannot afford complacency and that every party member must actively promote the flag-bearer’s vision.

“Our duty is to make Dr. Bawumia and the NPP brand the preferred choice for the Ghanaian people. We will take our message to every corner of the country from the airwaves to the local ‘chop bars’ to ensure our message resonates with the electorate,” the MP concluded.
