Speaking at the Conference of Heads of Basic Schools (COHBS) 1st Quadrennial Conference 2025, held at Abuakwa last Friday, the Municipal Director of Education appealed to political leaders, traditional leaders, well-meaning natives, and affluent inhabitants to support infrastructural development in the education sector.

She emphasized that providing quality education is a shared responsibility, urging stakeholders to work together to improve education in the municipality.

The Quadrennial conference, themed “Transforming Basic Education in Ghana: Challenges and Opportunities,” provided a platform for participants to reflect, discuss, and share valuable ideas to enhance education in the municipality.

Responding to the appeal, Hon. Shirley Kyei Tiwaa, Member of Parliament for Atwima Nwabiagya South, assured the education director and participants of her commitment to supporting educational infrastructure.

Additionally, she pledged to introduce awards for outstanding teachers to motivate and encourage them to excel.

Hon. Kyei Tiwaa also advised students to avoid drugs, focus on their studies, and strive to become better individuals in the future.
