THE ORGANIZERS of the National Agriculture and Food Exhibition and Fair 2023 (OMEK) in Budapest, Hungary, have been praised for their excellent organizational skills.
Mr. Edmund Kyei, who is part of a delegation from Ghana to the programme, says he is highly impressed about what he witnessed at the fair.
Speaking with Nana Achiaa Adusei Poku of Press1News, he said everything about the programme has been perfect so he is commending the organizers.
“First of all, the event venue, the ‘Hungexpo Budapest Congress and Exhibition Center’ is spacious and very beautiful.
“Secondly, the exhibitors have been allocated spacious places to showcase their farm products and farm machinery.
“This is my first time at the OMEK Fair and I must confess that the programme is well and professionally planned”.
Mr. Kyei also says the programme has exposed the Ghanaian delegation to new innovations in the Agricultural sector.
“We have been exposed and educated about some of the modern and scientific techniques that are being used in Hungary to increase farm production.
“I hope that in the years to come, many Ghanaian farmers will have the opportunity to attend the OMEK Fair and add to their knowledge”.
According to Mr. Kyei, the OMEK fair should serve as a common platform for farmers in both Ghana and Hungary to learn from each other.
This, he stated, would contribute to food production and security for the citizens of the two sister countries.
