Addressing residents of Chirapatre at Sawua junction within the Asokwa Municipality on Sunday night, Lawyer Kodua said voters must be able to stay vigilant and police the voting process until results are declared.

“I humbly urge all voters in the Ashanti to stay at your polling stations after casting your ballots and only leave when the final declaration of figures is carried out by Electoral Commission officials”, Lawyer Kodua appealed.

Rationale:

Giving a background to his appeal, the NPP General Secretary said there was a grand plot by the NDC to cause confusion at polling stations in the Ashanti Region on December 7.

This, he disclosed is to suppress the votes of the NPP in its stronghold so that the NDC could be in a better position to win the upcoming presidential and parliamentary elections.

Lawyer Kodua said sensing defeat the NDC has devised plots to steal ballot boxes as well as cause confusion at various polling stations in Ashanti.

“We have intelligence report that the NDC wants to cause confusion at polling stations and steal ballot boxes but i am sure when they come and meet you in your numbers they will chicken out”, the NPP Secretary stated.

Campaign:

Campaigning for the Asokwa MP and Deputy Majority Leader in Parliament, Lawyer Kodua said that Madam Patricia Appiagyei had served the party and her people well.

He noted that it was upon the basis of the hardwork of the Asokwa MP that culminated in her being nominated and subsequently appointed as Deputy Majority leader in Parliament.

Lawyer Koduah appelaed to residents to vote for Mama Pat so she can continue to lobby for more development projects for Asokwa.

“Voter for Dr Bawumia who represents the future upliftment of Ghana and vote for Mama Pat who desires to see the youth of Asokwa have jobs and create a path of prosperity for themselves and families”, the NPP General Secretary posited.
