Narrating the issues to the media, Hon Amankwah said the recent insults by Dela Edem on President Kufuor as well as others by Mustapha Gbande and Okudzeto Ablakwa on Asantes show that the NDC were hatching a well thought agenda.

“It is sad that rather than ideas, the NDC from its flag-bearer to the least in the party find the outpouring of insults as something appealing that can win them political power”, Hon Amankwah tearfully stated.

Wicked Plots:

Hon Amankwah, a former Manhyia North Member of Parliament and security analyst alleged that there were plans by the NDC to cause mayhem in the Ashanti region during the upcoming presidential and parliamentary elections.

This plot, he disclosed is being fronted by Alfred Mahama, brother to former President Mahama, Hopeson Adorye, ally of Alan Kyerematen and other revolutionary elements in the NDC as well as some former security agents.

The NDC, Hon Amankwah said was bent on using wicked machinations to cause confusion in the Ashanti region and thereby intimidate people from coming out to vote on December 7.

“The plan by the NDC is to use foul means to intimidate residents of Kumasi so that they do not come out to vote and thereby help them to achieve their voter suppression tactic but we in the AHF are ready to protect the ballots of the people in this region”, Hon Amankwah swore.

Confidence:

Flanked by the Chairperson of the NPP USA Branch as well as the Youth Organiser and others, Hon Amankwah stated that the NPP was poised for victory at the December 7 polls.

He noted that the party was sure to record a majority in Parliament as well as retain the Presidency.

According Hon Amankwah, the NPP’s flag-bearer, Dr Alhaji Mahamodu Bawumia has been able to articulate his policies and programmes to the Ghanaian people, adding that this will help him win the polls.

“Dr Bawumia has proven to Ghanaians that he is the best to replace Nana Akufo-Addo as President and has espoused policies that would mark the total transformation of Ghana”, the lead covener stressed.
