Mr. Kelvin Gyamfi, the incumbent Ashanti Regional Treasurer of the Civil and Local Government Staff Association, Ghana (CLOGSAG), is extending warm wishes to aspirants in the district executive elections in the region.

The dedicated incumbent regional executive, who is eyeing the regional chairman position of the Association, hopes that the districts will choose leaders who will prioritize the wellbeing of their members and the Association.

Starting Wednesday, 1 April 2026, the Ashanti Regional Executive of CLOGSAG will supervise district-level elections, including one at the Regional Coordinating Council – a first-time occurrence.

According to the carefully planned district-level election timetable, the elections will end on Wednesday, 13 May 2026.

Mr. Gyamfi, a Procurement Officer at the Old Tafo Municipal Assembly, is assuring that the regional executives have demonstrated quality leadership and will ensure a free, fair, and transparent election process.

He is urging aspirants to be guided by the guidelines for the elections and uphold the dignity of the Association.
