Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC’s playmaker, Baba Yahaya, and winger Saaka Dauda have returned from injury, full fit.
The return of the duo, who were commanding regular places in their squad, is a boost, ahead of the epic clash against rejuvenated Hearts of Oak SC on Sunday in Accra.
Yahaya was nursing a groin injury, while Saaka picked up an ankle injury during the club’s preseason.
In a related development, goalpoacher Kwame Opoku, who was stretchered off during the opening-day win over Berekum Chelsea, has resumed training with the youth side.
Striker Isaac Mintah had successful surgery three weeks ago, while talented right-back, Shayibu Abubakar, is still battling with an ACL injury.
