The Member of Parliament for Atwima Nwabiagya South, Hon. Shirley Kyei, on Sunday, January 4, 2026, toured churches in her constituency to give thanks to God for His guidance and mercies since she assumed office.
She praised God for the lives of her constituents, party executives, and everyone who has been supportive during her tenure.
She also used the occasion, at the Christ Apostolic Church International (CACI), Nkawie Central, to thank the congregants and the church community for their endorsement during the last general elections.
While thanking them for their support, the MP said she had desired that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) be retained in government after the 2024 elections, but since that wasn’t the case.
She hoped that constituents will bring NPP back to power in the 2028 elections and urged them to support her reign.
Reverend Humphrey Assafuah, Circuit Pastor of the Church, led the church in prayer for the MP, constituency executives, and entire party faithfuls.
The Church prayed for divine guidance, wisdom, protection, and support for her to excel.
