The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, is set to host the Head of State and Kingdom of Eswatini, His Majesty King Mswati III, in Kumasi.
The royal visit is scheduled to take place from June 24-28, 2025.
Significantly the momentous visit marks strong ties between the Kingdom of Asante and Eswatini spanning several decades.
As the two globally revered monarchs meet, they will not only showcase the grandeur of the Manhyia Palace in Kumasi but also discuss bilateral relations, trade, and cultural exchange between Ghana and Eswatini.
The Asantehene’s commitment to preserving cultural heritage and promoting peace has earned him international recognition, including the prestigious “Pillar of Peace Award” in 2020.
Otumfuo Osei Tutu II is also renowned for his visionary leadership, promoting education, health, and economic development in his kingdom and beyond.
It is assured that the royal visit of King Mswati III will renew diplomatic relations between Ghana and Eswatini and maintain the strong bonds of friendship and cooperation between the two nations.
