Member of Parliament for Nhyiaeso, Dr. Stephen Amoah, has reiterated his commitment to making quality education a priority in his constituency.
During his last tenure, he committed significant resources to providing education and acquiring skills to improve human capital.
“Human development, particularly education and skills acquisition, has been my priority,” he stated.
Dr. Amoah made this statement while commissioning a 33-unit classroom school complex for the State Experimental Basic School in Nhyiaeso on Thursday May 22, 2025.
The modern school facility was built through his share of the Common Fund/GET Fund,
Highlighting his achievements in the education sector, the legislator mentioned that over the past four years, he has offered scholarships to over 700 students, including 20 studying abroad.
He added that he has provided over 2,400 pieces of furniture to public schools and computers to all senior high schools in his jurisdiction.
Other support provided includes vocational training and skills development for 1,000 youth, with an additional 1,000 in the pipeline.
Furthermore, Dr. Amoah mentioned that, apart from the MP’s special mock support policy, which cuts across all schools, he aims to renovate all public school buildings in appalling condition.
He called on stakeholders to support him in making education accessible and of high quality in the constituency.
